"Kompolti" is a Hungarian variety, grown throughout Europe.

It is the most widespread Hungarian variety. It is the result of more than 20 years of selection work by a team of expert geneticists. It was made with the combination of Chinese, Hungarian and probably also Italian materials, characterized by high vigor and wide adaptability to different environments.

It is a genetics developed to produce fiber but is chosen today for the production of inflorescences and extracted biomass (CBD).

*CBD is a molecule belonging to the cannabinoid family. There have been identified at the moment 140 in the inflorescences of hemp. CBD can be influenced by various factors of a chemical-physical, genetic, environmental nature. Therefore, each variety could develop a variable CBD content based on the phenotypes in the field.

The seed, if stored in a cool and dry place, retains its ability to germinate for the following year as well.
