Natural thermoregulation:

Hemp is ahollowfiber that insulates from heat. In contact with the skin, it creates an optimal microclimate - it doesn't overheat, it doesn't generate excessive sweat.

"Moulding" effect:

Who makes this shirt?

It is made by HavanaEco, a tailor's shop from Puglia, Sava (TA), a sustainable capsule of the Toma Italian Brands group – a company active in Made in Italy menswear since 1994.

What fabric is it?

100% Clara CanaPuglia hemp, weight 280 gr/mtl(grams per linear meter, with a fabric height of 150 cm). It is our standard fabric for structured yet light garments.

How do I know if it fits me?

Compare the measurements in the table in the photo with a shirt you already own that fits you as you'd like. The key measurements to check are shoulders and chest. If they are similar to your reference shirt, the fit will be correct.

Should it be worn open or closed?

Both options. Openit works great over a white t-shirt or a shirt underneath - a contemporary layered look. Closed with all buttonsgives a more minimal aesthetic, almost like a structured shirt. Both are valid aesthetics; only the character of the look changes.

Is it suitable for summer evenings?

Yes, it's one of its main uses. On summer evenings when the temperature drops, worn over a t-shirt or light shirt, it works perfectly as outerwear that protects without making you too warm.

Is it suitable for winter?

No. The 280 gr/mtl weight is too light for cold weather. As an overshirt over a sweater, it can work as a layer on mild autumn days, but it is not a winter garment.

How should it be washed?

Machine wash max 30°C on a delicate cycle, with eco-organic detergent, no fabric softener, no tumble dryer. The light fabric requires more attention in washing programs. More details in the Maintenance and care tab.

Does it wrinkle a lot?

Less than linen, more than cotton. Hemp creases are roundedinstead of right-angled (like linen), and they soften with use. If you iron with steam or while it is still slightly damp, the result is clean and lasts a long time.

Does it shrink on the first wash?

A slight initial shrinkage (about 5%) is normal for un-prewashed hemp garments. The garment is made with this in mind.

How long does it last?

Hemp is 5 times more durable than cotton. A hemp shirt lasts much longer than a cotton or synthetic one, improving with each wash instead of deteriorating.

Is it a good gift idea?

Yes, for those who know the recipient's size (S / neck 42 cm). If you are not sure of the exact size, it is better to choose other gifts from the collection (accessories) or wait until more sizes are available.
