Pay attention to wash load weight:

As this is a heavy item, it will weigh even more when wet. Do not overload the drum - it's best to wash it alone or with a maximum of 1-2 towels. An overloaded drum does not wash properly and stresses the machine.

Drying:

• Tumble drying recommended at medium temperature- the terry cloth becomes softer
• Alternatively, air dryin a well-ventilated area

No ironing:

Terry cloth should not be ironed - it's not necessary, and the iron would flatten the loops, reducing their absorbency.

First washes:

During the first 2-3 washes, the fabric may release small amounts of lint - this is normal. It will stabilize afterwards.

Over time:

Hemp-cotton terry cloth improves wash after wash, becoming softer. Absorbency increases with washing (unlike pure cotton which tends to close its fibers). A hemp terry bathrobe that has been used for a year is softer and more absorbent than a new one.

How do I wash it?

No, on the contrary. The hemp-cotton terry improves with each wash: it softens and becomes more absorbent, not less. This is the opposite of pure cotton, which tends to close its fibers over time.
