Bermuda shortselegant and lightweight, designed for the warm season:

  • Summer at the beach:The Clara 280 gr/mtl fabric is more structured than lightweight linen Bermuda shorts – it holds its shape well but remains cool.
  • City vacations:An alternative to long trousers when it's hot but you need to look presentable.
  • Informal summer ceremonies:Outdoor morning/lunch weddings, summer baptisms, daytime events.
  • Cocktail hours and informal dinners:Elegant without being formal.
  • Weekend getaways:Comfortable, versatile, goes with everything.
  • Golf, refined leisure:A distinctive casual look.

Why Clara 280 gr/mtl for Bermuda shorts:

The 280 gr/mtl weight of Clara CanaPugliais designed for lightweight but structuredclothing. Unlike lightweight linen Bermuda shorts that wrinkle immediately and lose their shape, Clara has the right substanceto maintain a clean sartorial line, without feeling heavy or stifling in the summer. These Bermuda shorts look good all day long.

Natural thermoregulation:

Hemp is a hollowfiber that insulates against heat. In a summer garment like Bermuda shorts, this translates into true freshness – it doesn't retain heat, disperses moisture, and maintains an optimal microclimate.

Behavior over time:

Like all hemp, Clara improves with every wash, becoming softer without losing strength. Initial creases diminish with use.

When to wear it:

  • Everyday summer:For those looking for elegant alternatives to long trousers on hot days
  • Informal summer ceremonies:Morning/lunch outdoor weddings, light ceremonies
  • Mediterranean holidays:Historic cities, villages, beaches - bermuda shorts that look good everywhere
  • Aperitifs and dinners:Informal yet refined settings
  • Creative / freelance environments:For those with freedom in summer dress codes
  • Golf and elegant leisure:Country clubs, brunches, daytime events

Why the natural color works:

The natural beige/sand of the Clara is a warm neutralthat pairs with almost everything: white (perfect for a clean contrast), navy (classic marine), earth tones (Mediterranean harmony), military green, light denim. It's a color that easily fits into a wardrobe without forcing combinations.

Who it's for:

For the man who seeks bermuda shorts with characterwithout stooping to the level of sportswear, who appreciates Italian tailoring and wants a garment that will last more than one season. Not a flashy item, but one of substance.

Washing:

  • Machine wash max 30°Con a delicate cycle
  • Eco-friendly detergent(preferred)
  • Do not bleach, do not use harsh detergents
  • Do not use fabric softener(hemp softens naturally)
  • Wash separatelyor with similar colours, especially for the first few washes

Drying:

  • Air dry, in the shade or in a well-ventilated area
  • Do not tumble dry(it reduces the fibre)
  • Lay flat or hang on a Bermuda hanger to maintain shape
  • Do not wring vigorously

Ironing:

  • Hot ironwith steam(hemp can withstand high temperatures)
  • Carefully iron the front crease to maintain the tailored line
  • Ideally, iron the garment when slightly damp
  • Inside out to preserve the colour

The front crease:

The central crease is part of the tailored design - it must be maintained with ironing. A blurred crease changes the perception of the garment from elegant to casual.

Over time:

The Clara improves with each wash, becoming progressively softer, developing a personal patina. The natural colour may slightly fade in prolonged direct sunlight, which is normal behaviour for raw fibres.

Storage:

  • Hang on a trouser hanger (with clips at the waist) to avoid deforming the hips
  • Hemp is naturally moth and mildew repellent, fewer storage problems
  • For long periods, use a cotton bag (not plastic)

Lavatrice max 30°C programma delicato, no ammorbidente, no asciugatrice.
