Description
These panels provide exceptional thermal, moisture-regulating, and acoustic performance, creating healthy, comfortable, and sustainable environments.
Free from toxic substances, they ensure safety and well-being during both installation and long-term use.
Technical Features – 40 kg/m³ density
-
Thermal conductivity (λ): 0.0375–0.04 W/mK
-
Vapor diffusion resistance (μ): ≤ 2
-
Specific heat capacity (c): 1700 J/kgK
-
Sound absorption: Class C (EN ISO 11654:1997)
-
Fire resistance: Class E (EN 13501-1)
Composition & Key Properties
Made from 85% natural fibers and 15% recycled fibers, these panels are fully recyclable and boast a high specific heat capacity (c = 1700 J/kgK) for effective summer cooling.
Similar to sheep wool, hemp wool is ideal for humid environments, as it absorbs moisture and releases it gradually without compromising insulation properties.
Certifications
Certified ETA 16/0947, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Key Advantages
-
High heat recovery and phase shift, thanks to hemp’s thermal capacity
-
Long-lasting mechanical properties of hemp fibers
-
Absorbs up to 20% of its weight in moisture without losing insulation capacity
-
Naturally insect- and rodent-repellent (contains no proteins)
-
10x less energy needed for production compared to synthetic or mineral alternatives
-
Captures CO₂ during growth, resulting in a positive carbon footprint
Applications
Ideal for thermal and acoustic insulation of roofs, walls, and floors in both new and existing buildings.
A natural alternative to synthetic and mineral insulating materials.
Especially suitable for timber frame constructions and breathable “open-diffusion” buildings, reducing the risk of mold and condensation.
Benefits
-
Effective against both heat and cold
-
Prevents internal humidity buildup
-
Long-lasting performance
-
Breathable material
-
Reduces interstitial condensation
-
Resistant to mold and pests
-
Eco-friendly supply chain
