• For more stubborn stains: damp cloth with mild soap, dabbing without rubbing vigorously
• For odours: air out sneakers outdoors after use (hemp is naturally antibacterial and dissipates odours)

• Washing machine(damages structure, suede, natural insole)
• Tumble dryer(deforms and dries out natural materials)
• Aggressive chemical products(solvents, bleaches, degreasers)
• Prolonged exposure to strong sun(can discolour leather and fabric)

Drying:

If sneakers get wet, stuff them with newspaperinside to absorb moisture and maintain shape. Let them dry away from direct heat sources(no radiator, no hairdryer, no beating sun).

Store in a dry and airy place. For long periods of disuse, store with a shoe tree or stuffing to maintain shape.

Are they vegan?

No, we use ECOtan® vegetable-tanned leather: it is the most ethical and least polluting version of leather (tanned without heavy metals, without harmful chemicals), but it is still animal-derived leather. For completely vegan options, please contact us to learn about our future developments.

What does "ECOtan® vegetable tanning" mean?

Tanning transforms raw hide into leather usable for shoes and accessories. Traditional tanning uses chromium saltsand other highly polluting chemicals. ECOtan® vegetable tanningexclusively uses natural extracts from plants(bark, leaves, wood) – it is the oldest tanning method in the world and the one with the lowest environmental impact.

Are they suitable for sports?

They are designed as everyday sneakers: walking, city wear, casual workplace, leisure. For technical sports(running, intensive gym, competitive sports), it is preferable to use shoes specifically designed for those activities, with dedicated cushioning and support technologies.

Are they rain resistant?

Are they really biodegradable?

Yes, every single componentis biodegradable or compostable: hemp (vegetable fiber), cork (oak bark), coconut fibers (agricultural waste), vegetable-tanned leather (natural tanning), natural rubber (hevea latex), organic cotton. At the end of their life, they leave no polluting traces.
